Duffy’s Penthouse Blaze

May 2015

Back in 2013, a fire ripped through the penthouse apartment occupied by award winning singer, Duffy, who reportedly fled the blaze stopping only to save her cats and dogs.

The £12m apartment at Abbot's House, Kensington W14, featuring a private swimming pool and cinema, has now been restored and refurbished under the project management of HMC with interior design by the Candy brothers. As well as the penthouse project, HMC was asked to manage the refurbishment contract for the common parts to the rest of the block including the installation new windows throughout and with a total project value approaching £3m. Duffy and her pets have since moved on, leaving the stunning penthouse available to a new and careful occupier.
